I've got a problem with my speedometer on Clio II (2002 1.5dCi 82HP).
It just stucks occasionally, usually when I brake quickly, for example from 90 to 50 and it stucks at 70 and counts from there up. If I stop, 70 becomes 0, so 50 is 120km/h.
It happens mostly when car is left on the sun for a few hours.
Unplugging battery does not fix it, neither does speedo test. Only solution is turning car on and off and then it falls each time by 5kmh slowly to zero.
Anyone has any idea what is wrong? :confused:
Just speedo sensor or do I need to replace whole speedometer?
